Telis sponsors rugby player Antoine Zeghdar

On the road to Paris 2024! We’re supporting the French hopeful and native Monegasque as he prepares for the Rugby 7s Olympic trials to be held in the capital this summer.

Paris 2024 Olympic Games: In Monaco, Telis is supporting the hope of French rugby and local child, Antoine Zeghdar.

Telis is pleased to announce its partnership with French international rugby sevens player Antoine Zeghdar as part of his preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This collaboration reflects Telis’ commitment to supporting sporting excellence in Monaco.

A sports ambassador in the making

Antoine Zeghdar, a rising star in French rugby, represents the values of determination, passion and team spirit that Telis wishes to encourage. The 24-year-old began his rugby career in the Principality of Monaco, before going on to play for a number of clubs in France, including Nice, Toulon, Oyonnax and Castres. Telis is supporting the top-level athlete in the forthcoming World Rugby Sevens Series tournaments, a decisive choice given that only 13 of the 30 players have the opportunity to take part in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

«A lifelong dream! As well as taking part in the greatest international competition, for me being an Olympian means proudly defending my country's colours, living a unique experience with my team-mates and the public, experiencing intense emotions, but above all sharing the values of Olympism: Excellence, Friendship, Respect. A dream come true: Paris 2024, 206 countries, 10,500 athletes, 4 billion television viewers. I'm going to keep training harder and harder every day, pushing back my athletic limits to be at the top of my game on D-Day».

Telis' commitment to rugby in the Principality

Telis has always been committed to the values of sharing, team spirit and performance that are the hallmarks of rugby. This has led the company to sponsor the Monaco Rugby Federation on several occasions, notably for the Ste Devote tournament.

Telis is delighted to be associated with Antoine Zeghdar, who perfectly represents these values. His quest for sporting excellence and his choice to devote himself entirely to one goal: “Paris 2024”, resonates with our commitment to performance and innovation.

As the athlete’s partner, Telis is making its expertise and resources available to support Antoine’s preparation for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

« This strategic partnership reinforces Telis' position as a dedicated supporter of high performance sport and underlines its essential role in supporting athletes in their quest for achievement and success. »

« I would like to thank the Telis Group for supporting my preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. I'm delighted with this choice, which puts the spotlight on rugby 7s, a sport that still receives little media coverage in France, but which promotes strong values such as team spirit, respect, commitment and perseverance. Values that we share with the Telis Group».
